Different Versions

Hey guys, enjoying the game alot but today i updated it and my version is 0.016 while my mate has 0.015h1 and he isnt able to update and we are no longer allowed to join each others servers. Is there a fix for this or is this something new that no one knows about?
When i search for a lobby it shows me no lobbies until i hit the button that says "SHow other versions"
