HOW DO I GET OUT OF A LOCKED ROOM WITHOUT LOCKPICKS????

I just started playing, the first time I started a new game I spawned on a room with a locked door and I couldn't get out through the window. I found somewhere that I should start a new game, so I did it. But the problem is still the same, I spawn on a locked bedroom with no key in any container or lockpick and can't get out through the window. PLEASE HELP I'M SO EXCITED TO PLAY THIS GAMEEEE

just hit the door with some mele weapon (5 or 6 hits break the door)

This seems odd to be happening, I'v done several new game restarts by choice and never spawned in a room with a door I could not open.

When you look at the door, do you get an unlock option? If yes, select that and it will unlock the door and you will be able to open.
