Does the game get harder after a certain amount of days?

It doesn't show how many days i've been alive. I am guessing like 30 days but nothing else is happening? does anything happen when power and water shuts off?

What are you expecting to happen? It’s a pretty chill experience of just looting and mooching around tbh. Storing snd crafting stuff and setting up a base,

Maybe tweak the settings to make the zombies one shot you and always sprint or something, that’ll keep you on your toes :)

What are we expecting to happen? wdym, game stage progression is a staple in these kinds of games. It's not a stretch to wonder if this game will follow the standard conventions of the genre.

Q is still what are you expecting to happen. Some of us don’t need anything to happen or objectives or stuff ramping up, or hordes appearing for no apparent reason, not everything needs to be like 7days.

there’s games out there that do fine with nothing happening in the sandbox. Just decent game mechanics. You survive, loot and sustain,
Build, craft. Kill a zombie now and again, watch a dvd.

I’m sure they will add further content though to appease the different audiences.

In the latest dev blog video diss said that the hordes get larger and more difficult. You could also adjust the game settings in the admin menu while the game is running (so, for example, at a month in you increase the zombie spawn rate, or their damage/sight/speed etc).

Are you starting on the default options or have you tweaked it?

That is what OP asked though, so idk why you're being a clown about it. "expecting something to happen" is not a requirement to asking the question "is something supposed to happen"

YOU asked what they expect to happen in a rude, condescending, and quite rhetorical way. So no, it's not "Q is still what are you expecting to happen." Q is why did YOU have such a hard time understanding such a simple question? Zombies already ate your brains or...?

Furthermore, you're wrong. OP if you've been going for 30 days maybe your save isn't the updated version? I was just playing these last few days and somewhere around day 5 or 6 I had ~35 sprinters attack me. All default settings. The only thing I'd really been doing at that point was boarding up some windows, built the basic work bench, and hoarded about 7 or 8 cars so if there was a specific trigger for it (wealth, progression) or if it was time based idk.

There's also been some meta events for me, but they don't appear to be working. In fact I'd say the whole zombie spawn system is probably not working as intended right now, as zombies just spawn near the player pretty regularly.

Like.. it's reasonable to want clarification as to what someone expects, that way it gives you something to work with in what advice you can give them should their expectations be unable to be met. Clearly OP expects something to happen after water shuts off, or wants to expect something.

You asked a question, you stated what the game was in your eyes, and you gave some advice.

I think there trying to say that does the game get challenging. I Played this game for a hour as was bored. nice concept however after exploring the whole map it does get repetitive, finding the same loot in most places, most buildings look the same. If there were missions or places you need to go to find survivors would be good maybe like state of decay. other than trying to survive there is nothing else to do. would be good if there were horde moments if your spending too long in one place or building so making your move on or having a more intense experience would be nice.
