Washing Clothes

Anyone worked out how to wash clothes yet with detergent etc? TIA

U can wash cloths in the washing machines , works fine. just put the item in the machine and u should get another option to wash. have never use detergents.

I have been trying to figure this out for almost 2 hours now and getting frustrated.

Figured out how to wash clothes in a sink the dryer works no issues but haven't figured out how to use the washing machine.

They work identically to dryers. If they're not washing clothes it's probably a bug. I'll look into it today.

Keep in mind that on both the washer and dryer there are two 'targets' that bring up different menus. If you aim near the top it gives you the standard 'search' menu, but if you aim at the door you should context options, and among them should be 'turn on'. If you place your clothes into the washer, then open your inventory while targeting the door, you should have an option on the fabric softener and the detergent (Pronto I believe it's called) to add those to the washing machine. Then, turn it on and come back later.

yes I am aware but only 1 that says power on/off so at the moment I was my clothes downstairs at the hillside bar and grill and go upstairs to dry them.

Yeah, that washer upstairs doesn't work. Use any other, they work

To nerdo's reply above, I just checked that washer on the newest canary beta and it still isn't working. I did figure out you can try to drink from it and if it says "Nothing comes out" in red at the top of the screen then the water supply isn't connected and it won't wash anything.

I will tell you to find some detergent. I tried washing a bunch of things in one of the mobile/manufactured rectangle homes that seem to all have them and they would not get fully clean with water alone, unless maybe I had overlaoded it. Also, there is no sound when it was washing, I had to "Search" it and look to see if the clothes were getting wet.
