Haven't played for ages due to constant performance drops after about 10 mins play. But the game before this happened ran fine and controls did what was expected. Saw there was an update so downloaded and installed. Game now runs like crap from the start, looks worse too. My character keeps warping about. Graphics are blurry and look like pixel art. Every element of gameplay twitchy and requiring either pixel perfect positioning to search something or multiple clicks to perform the action chosen - if the action even decides to work at all.

Game runs well on med-high setting for me. I get 70+ fps when outside and 120+ indoors with a 4060.

Are you on multiplayer? Canary? What hardware do you have & what's your FPS?

I was on a multiplayer server so i suppose a dodgy connection could explain the general lack of responsiveness and the character warping. However just tried it now on singleplayer and the outdoor environmental graphics (trees, bushes, grass) still look terribly fuzzy.

(this isn't video compression - in fact the video compression actually blurs the pixelation compared to in game and may even look a bit better!)

Yeah multiplayer performance sucks right now. We're doing a hotfix either today or tomorrow to address it.

With respect to the pixelation it looks like your screen percentage is bugged. Press ~ to open the console and enter `r.ScreenPercentage 100` and it will go back to normal.

Actually no, that's not it (I didn't see you show your settings). I'll look into this. Maybe try a different antialiasing method?

Sorry for the spam - I found the bug (it was happening on my friend's machine but not mine). The fix will be in the hotfix.

Nice one... i played with AA and it did a help quite a bit to lower the quality and set it to TAA and reduce foliage quality.

I still seem to be suffering from game performance tanking the longer i play though...
