Didn't you guys just increase the rate stress builds up? Besides it's not entirely an issue with with the stress, it's more of a problem with good ways to get rid of it. Maybe think about adding a 'good food' bonus to things like chocolate, cookies, ice cream maybe even some cooked foods. I noticed there's readables in the game (like newspapers), it wouldn't be unreasonable to have reading them reduce stress either.
Again I don't mean to sound snarky or tell you how to build your game. Just some food for thought.
Not sure if it was intentional but love the play on word here ..LOL!!!
