How do you build it? Does it need that family character live and die in main town?

The option to build it appears after the burning ceremony if i'm not mistaken. I had an option for a free lord and for the lord of the family who died while on the global map

my king just passed (old age). and I never got the option before or after the burning ceremony. Could this only be an option if they die on the world map????

From what I've experienced, the option to build a Monument appears in the Construction Menu after a Lord dies regardless as to how or where they died.

It's nice that even if a Lord dies while outside the settlement/province, the option to build their grave/monument still comes up.

In addition, as this is odd, I have been able to build graves/Monuments prior to the Funeral.

One bug that I've experienced with graves though...Don't click on the graves to read information about the dead, otherwise the window that pops up Might stay open and the only way to get rid of it is to restart the game. *I have reported this bug.
