Knights and Lesser lords
So, while we were working on the lesser lords, we encountered a small architectural challenge – it's difficult to convert lord characters into knights and then back (for example, grown-up children).

Therefore, to avoid delaying the changes you're expecting, please let us know which option you prefer:

1. You will be able to make knights, but you won't be able to convert them back into lords. And you won't be able to promote knights to lords anymore.

2. Keep it as it is – you can grant titles to hired knights, but you can't make knights out of lesser lords (e.g., grown-up children).

(if you want to vote, here is the link to the same disscussion in our Discord.

By the way, the new inspection mechanic (where buildings don't stop after instructions end but instead reduce productivity by 50%) performed well in tests. We will release it very soon. For those who prefer the old way, there will be a "lazy workers" modifier.

Of the two, option 1 seems to be the better choice.
i want my heir to fight for the kingdom before taking the throne, will this still be possible with option 1?
I would say 1 but we should have an option to make children (especially non-heir children) into Knights eventually for sure. I think it would be acceptable if this was irrevocable. Perhaps something similar to sending them away to the church where you remove them from the line of succession but keep them in the family as a Knight. At some point anyway, just being able to have a couple kids around at the same time is a big win for now.

i like 1, as even if they become knights I can still get some return on all the education I invested into them.
Keep option 2.

Nope. The Knights cant become Lords anymore with option 1. and cant inherit the crown.
Dont like any of them in long run.But currently 2 feels better option.WHy not just let us use lesser lords as commanders or fighters like normal lords without converting them to knights?

I'm thinking of the two, #1 is better. I hate the idea of locking them in as a knight, but of the two options, I think that one is better. In an ideal succession situation, you make them a knight for a time, then when the King passes, they can take over.

That is not how #1 works. Knights cant take over or inherit anything.

This is AWESOME
first option
1 as a compromise.

Same way some stuff functioned in Crusader Kings.

OPTION 1, we rarely need the knights to be promoted, plenty of better options exist presently. I like having knights I can buy or "demote" from lesser family/bastards--or if you have a less than desirable child, remove them from the line of succession by throwing them in the military or clergy.
