They should simply remove it from the Game, it was a bad Idea, which should be removed.
Players should always be able to decide for themself, how many Characters they can handle without Issue and should never be restricted by an arbitrary Limit.
But we don't want to strip the child's parents of their titles, who have served their country as well as they can.
At least until a safe haven for retired lords is prepared.
Currently,at best, a lord stripped of his title is homeless; at worst, he disappears the moment he is stripped and is shown as having died.
Five is not enough at all and seven is not enough.
В идеале пешки должны уходить по причинам низкой лояльности/плохого настроения.
Если я могу им дать приличную жизнь, кормежку и использовать их условно для переписывания книг/обучения/как рыцарей, то зачем им уходить на мороз?
Alas, if you want to be sentimental about it...
Now, in my kingdom, two children are due to come of age at the same time, so the lordship must be run by three people.
In my kingdom, which has been stably managed according to the tutorial recommendations, there are two couples, i.e. four lords, with four children.
Unfortunately, your advice is not in line with the actual situation.
At same time? An unusual setup which IIRC, should only occur by selecting 3 daughters scenario (or you had some weird affair stuff going on lol, IDK - or twins which I've never seen yet??)
Even then, that's still only 4 family members with king and queen. So you've offered at least one title to a lord, a title that can be stripped and lord retained to manage what they were doing previously, including knowledge - while you promote family which is kind of what it's about IMHO.
It seems everybody is wanting to keep everyone as a permanent lord without any succession planning. I mean, I get what people are trying to do and why they want unlimited slots, but the reasoning is dubious given functionality is essentially the same except for the cost.
I can only imagine that people are trying to avoid paying for lords at end of 10th day because I can't think of any other reason to fill title slots tbh.
-On the issue of twins, my brother and I were close, had sex with our respective wives on the same day, had children on the same day and cousins came of age on the same day.
Anyway, it seems that short-term improvements have been announced, the slots are now 6 and there will be an aristocratic class under the lordship.
In the long term, it is also likely that the number of lords will be selectable.
increase to 8 - yes
and lets make people past 55 not count as they pepsi
I'm not personally keen on selecting slot count but if it's an option, so be it I guess.
'Firstly, our priority will be to develop dynasty mechanics along with more advanced story generation mechanics as soon as the intense patching period is over. You will soon see this in our roadmap.
Secondly, to improve the situation as quickly as possible, we will make the following changes within a couple of days:
1. The number of lord slots will be increased to six.
2. Adult children, as well as lords who have been stripped of their titles (including the elderly), will not leave the settlement but will become "lesser lords". You will not be able to assign tasks to them, but the following actions will be possible:
- They can be granted a title.
- The elderly can teach others.
- Lesser lady can be married off.
- All lesser lords can be knighted.
- They can also be dedicated to the church – they will leave the province, but you will receive a corresponding number of rings based on their skills and improved relations with the church.
- They can be hired as free lords - first time with discount
- If there are more than three, the most unhappy among them will soon want to leave the province (this is to prevent having too many).
- They will eat and drink at the king's table, so their upkeep will be your responsibility.
- There will be mutual dislike between them and the titled lords due to envy of their position.'
