Peasant Houses worth it?

Just curious how people are travelling when building out peasant homes or just sticking with dorms. Are the benefits worth the 5 iron? When dorms are holding 10 peasants and homes house 2, do you need to build 50-100 homes? Does 'space management' become an issue?

Depends, do you have the resources?

If you need shelter ASAP just make more dorms, but if you're stockpiling materials why not start building a bunch of houses for the big loyalty boosts?

depends on whether you have an endless source of iron or not. There is at least one region where a village gives you 30 iron every few days, so it's worth it then. Giving your peasants a high mood also attracts more immigrants. Space does become an issue because a single dorm house occupies less space than 4 peasant houses while providing 2 more living slots.
