Spouses cheating on each other is a norm?

I had a few restarts to get a hang of the rhythm, but every time my starting married couple started cheating on each other with the peasants. In my current trial I created a monogamous lustful king and her lady, and I hoped it will work out, it did for about 10 days, but after that it broke, and they started cheating on each other like no tomorrow.
So monogamy does not mean that if both husband and wife are starving $x, they will do it together.... xd
And a few days later the wife of the brother of the king got pregnant from a peasant. Lol.
Btw. I love this game, but this issue is somewhat frustrating for me, and donno what could I do... Maybe I have to micromanaging their interests? Force them to spend time together every few days? Oh, and the brother of my King is bald, is he forever cursed by cheating wives cose of the -20 debuff? xd

It doesnt happen every time if u pay attention to their need and they have good relations with each other.Basically they need to spent time together,go wolf hunting together and stay in town when they need "romance".

Yeah, I could keep that up for 10 days, the lustful trait probably is too hard. But they have to be realllly into each other to do it? Because they were in town for 2 days together with low $satisfaction with positive relationship, but the wife decided to search for pleasures elsewhere, and king got angry, relationship went to abyss, he cheated too, wife became misandrist... xd

Been mostly getting the lustful trait on both main Lords (the husband and wife start) with the main Lord being Beautiful. Haven't had them cheat on one another yet but they do end up getting freaky a lot.
The third lord (not lustful not beautiful) though cheated even though both he and his wife had... unmet "needs"

The last 4 days the devs made like 5 new patches, 2 of them made changes in these situations. I'm gonna go check it out! I love these guys!

Buy wife, have babby, execute wife. It's a tried and true method you know.

This was a bug--a patch that JUST came out mentioned fixing the Monogamous trait so people with that trait won't cheat on their spouses anymore.

That wasn't a bug but it did introduce another bug.

Anyway @OP don't overwork your couples. If they spend time together especially in the evening (and really especially while drinking) they will likely do their thang. If they're running all over doing errands and have no downtime they won't.
