What villages do you prefer?

When starting out, what villages do you prefer the most? I find myself gravitating to iron and wood, since one can't be replenished, and the other since it can be difficult if you chop down to much.

Silverhaven so far, I get nervous with too many neighbors plotting my demise. Wood and iron are also good.
