I didn't say Ean was wrong, I just didn't understand why he bothered to reply. To be honest I don't understand why you have either?
Was it though? Look, I'm not actually trying to be confrontational but I'm still just as lost as when I posted this question. I still am learning the mechanics of this game, I'm still trying to understand how to resolve this battle. With all the vitriol you've decided to throw at me, all I've learned from this thread was 'the world map exists', which i knew before creating this thread.
So no, I don't know why you've bothered to reply, you are clearly are just looking for a fight and don't want to be helpful
Your question is how to respond to a request for assistance.
You need to go to the world map, click on the faction that is asking for it. Press the + and it's one of the options. (Typically the top one). Then you can click to send your local army that you created.
That wasn't so hard was it?
To anyone else searching how to do this, you then need to click on the crossed swords above the settlement you sent your army to/ are assisting and that should generate the battle.
