Population Decline
I'm struggling to get my pop (peasantry) over 100. I'm not getting enough Mirgrants in to sustain the population and it's slowly decreasing, which is creating a need for slaves.

Do Peasants not procreate? Should I have not developed my settlement so far? Hints?

the migration multiplier is completely nerfed once you hit 90 peasants after a recent update, everything has been downsized.

Yeah I'm on 7 Gold per day at the moment and terror is minimal.

Had this run for a couple of weeks so might explain it...

So you're telling me that in a city building medieval game they put a hardlimit on how many people you can ahve? You're joking right?

basically, for now most ppl are working around it using slaves, but the whole thing just feels awkward, the issue is that it makes a HUGE difference in how you can play the game and it was implemented very subtly thus causing alot of confusion, can't speak for everyone but personally im insulted at the apparently unsustainable game model we were shown at first. on the other hand, it is ea so disruptions like this are expected. although up front communication about this specifically should absolutely be taking place and it is not. will the pop cap be lifted? who knows, there's definitely alot of content still needing added to the game so im inclined to think not. at least not for quite some time. but in the end, norland is still pretty fun.

In all honesty a game like this should literally be able to run a lot more population. It seems like a rip off to me to advertise a village building game and then lowkey hardcap around 120 people. I want 300. 400 even. I mean come on, this game isn't really demanding, there's other games out there that are able to run a lot more population. It would suck if there's some weird hard balance after 100 that keeps you floating between 100 and 120 or something. I wanted to build a huge city and enjoy this game for a long time but this kind of put a dent into my own experience as I've noticed the population going up and down too hard and barely able to reach higher numbers, which is a shame in a game like this.
