Yeah well you're right, but macs never had a big player base, so while m chips are suitable for gaming - this didn't change instantly. Plus there's a lot of backs and forths while working with apple starting from the need to get their license. In the world where steam still has like 90% of the users on windows it doesn't make much sense to focus on mac (and I'm mac guy who would love this game here but it is what it is)
Even cut scenes play no problems.
