Is this game easier or harder than RimWorld cause I have a few friends that have played RimWorld and they say its really hard to play.

Its different, also norland is still early in development so there is barely any balancing at all, you can "beat" the game even on hardcore in 2-3 weeks of demo time you have availible.

At very least much less planning is needed for good town in norland than it is for good colony in rimworld.

So a tiny bit easier that is good as from what I have heard from other people that RimWorld was to hard. So I will give Nordland a try. Dont get me wrong I like a challenge but not to the point were its not fun anymore.

rimworld isn't that hard tbhm but this game is a little bit on the complicated side.

Rimworld is as difficult as you let it be, you can change difficulty at any second and even replace narrator with another one if you want. Its just that combat scales poorly in vanilla so sooner or later you are attacked by wall of flesh if you do not manage your prosperity or play on low enough difficulty.

The game currently has two game modes. Regular and hardcore. In the future, we plan to give players more fine-grained game customization for themselves, so that everyone can customize the game the way they see fit.

So I only recently started playing Rimworld am around 60hrs in now and honestly, it's not that hard if you're used to playing any kind of city builder/colony sim... Same goes for Norland imo... Play the demo and see if it suits you, that's what I would suggest :)

You're pro hardcore Norland gamer, that doesn't count Badman ;P All of the discord server knows this Jokes aside though, it's def very different from Rimworld, I don't think you can really compare the 2 very much
