How do you rename ships?

Is there a way to disable hotkeys so you can actually rename ships how you want them? I can click editor then click the ship/company name to rename, but when you actually try to type a name, the hotkeys still fire - which isnt such a problem for keys like L and K that fire thrusters, but M (map) and T (tacticalview) completely exits the rename screen.....

This appears to be a new bug. I'll open a ticket about it.

I found a semi-workaround, you can press the T or M key again to close the menu and then go back to the editor, the letter has been typed and you can continue writing the name.
hope this helps while it's getting fixed
