Pet Pal?

Do I have to pet every animal or just each type? So far I've pet:

Rabbit, Duck, Cat in Railway
Sheep in Alps
Wolf and Puffin in Greenland Iceland
Boar and Deer in Forest
Panda in Asia
Koala and Bird in Australia
Turtle and Gull in Beach
Cow in Poland

Am I missing an animal?

I did the same, pet every type of animal listed and used a guide too, and I still didn't get the achievement. I could have sworn it was just every type, not every single animal you see.

I think this is still bugged. Just did all the level and pet every since animal i could but still nothing.

Edit: Asia, I forgot they just called it "Asia" instead of "China" lol. Same map as the Pandas.

Just replayed the whole game and I still can't get Pet Pal to count as well.

I'm wondering if the peacocks are meant to be petted, but there's no interaction for them. They show up around the campfire at the end and seem to be one of the major animals. There was also one or 2 of the smaller birds that reappear after restoring nature that can't be petted. Not sure if this is part of the issue or not.

I was wondering the same. Moreover, "Garden" is the only level where there is no pet that can be petted and peacocks appears in this one...

I've played every level at least 3 times, most of them more. This achievement is the only one I'm missing, and it just refuses to pop. As far as I could tell, neither Japan or Garden had pettable animals. Maybe they're supposed to, I don't know. I never found any there.

I can't stand hidden achievements, and even more when I can't check progress. Makes me a not-so-happy camper. I never saw the point, I want to know what I have to do, not spend ages guessing or have to resort to guides to find out.

I´ve played every level twice now an petted the animals multiple times and still no achievement... I hope there will be a patch soon, so that I can finish all achievements.

this is the last achievement I need. Third time through the game. Should have checked here first - i would have waited until this was fixed too before another frustrating playthrough.
