1. It's possible to get "Ricochet" waaaay before encountering first fighter planes... which are also last cause they appear only in the last act of final mission... Anyway, this achievement counts helicopters too, just be on lookout for groups flying on (somewhat) the same visual plane, with one (or two) helis flying above others (like very first helicopters in the game, introduced in the second act of first mission during boat ride). Just blast those "one-two helis" with a shotgun: if copters below them will explode at the same time, that'll count towards achievement progress.
2. "Hypochondriac"'s description is a bit wrong: achievement requires 5 medkits used during an act, not mission, just like "Invincible", "Frugal" and "Sniper" do. Completing first act of fifth mission more or less competently gives 5-to-7-to-even-9 medkits to be wasted at the very end of this act or during any subsequent ones.
3. Speaking of "Sniper": landing headshots feels very random even when using Beretta for precise shootin' (may be related to the game's VR origins and/or player weapon spread/enemy body hitboxes being wider/bigger than they actually look like, which overrides/"steals" headshot kills). For minimal frustration I recommend "Radar Dish" (boss of second mission) which will spawn around 50 (but not more) enemies during a fight as long as you won't allow it to damage itself (by constantly shooting radar's dish when it's health bar glows bright green but before it shoots rockets in the air). If you fail to get 20 headshots just bring up a pause menu and hit "Restart" which will spawn you at the start of boss fight, not the whole mission, so you can try again.
4. S rank have only two prerequisites:
- No continues used/zero deaths;
- All hostages saved.
There's a tricky hostage in fourth mission's boss fight: when tank'll spawn mini-gunners on its armor and start rolling around keep an eye out for a lower left corner of the screen; shoot here when you'll see a container with chain on it and "Help!" speech bubble floating around. Pause and "Restart" if you won't manage to hit it (turret's spread is a bit too wide), you'll spawn at the start of the boss fight with no penalty towards your rank.
Also sole hostage of fifth mission may not be "freeable" if you'll choose to go right at the intersection: I haven't managed to find a good moment/angle to shoot a container's chain on two replays of this act.
5. Local co-op (for "Traveling Companion" cheevo) seems to require two gamepads. A thread nearby mentioned "keyboard not working" upon connecting a pad, which is a half-truth: I was been able to bring up pause menu and Steam overlay, but unable to execute any gameplay related commands (switching weapons, using medkits, going in/out of cover etc.), like exactly those buttons were blocked by a game; also mouse buttons only worked in pause menu and Steam overlay but, again, not during an actual gameplay.
