This is such an emotional and beautiful game. The art style feels like walking into a Mexican Mural, every aspect of the game is carefully crafted and it's a solid representation of Mexico's historic hard edges.

I found this to be a very interestin' history lesson in the form of a entertaining game. The voice over work is solid. I didn't expect the game to have English voice as an option. It's welcomed. The character models have an interestin' look to em. I think the game conveys the atmosphere quite well. Solid effort from this team.

The art style is beautiful. As Mexican I feel very proud an curious about the political context. Voice acting is great. The music sounds neat. A must have for indie lovers.

This game is a triumph. It has some technical issues and could use some polish, but it's brilliant at what it does: to be a video game documentary of the political struggles in 1920s Mexico.

It starts a bit slow and confusing, but it's so full of style, emotion & passion... by the end, I was moved.

If you're interested, it's a 3-4h adventure game. There's audio & subtitles in Spanish and English (but do play with Spanish voices, they're great). Knowing some Mexican history helps, but you play as a someone slowly uncovering what is going on and documenting this era, so you'll be introduced to everything.

En mi opinión, Mexico 1921: A Deep Slumber no solo es un juego, sino una ventana a un momento crucial en la historia de México. A través de su narrativa rica en detalles, me permitió vivir el ambiente del México post-revolucionario y reflexionar sobre su impacto histórico. Lo que más me cautivó fue su impresionante arte visual, que recrea de manera hermosa el México de la época con una clara inspiración en las corrientes artísticas nacionales, lo que convierte cada escenario en una pieza digna de admiración.

Clearly, the love and attention to detail invested in this project are evident. The term "documentary game" feels entirely appropriate due to the game's incredible accuracy in portraying Mexico in XX century. I truly appreciate being able to experience a game that not only gets historical elements right but also enhances them with engaging gameplay, particularly through its camera mechanic. The game left me excited to learn more and discover more about this historicial event. Congratulations to the entire development team! Love the game <3

What a trip, seeing my country represented in a videogame was lovely and meeting characters I've learned about for years of school was a treat. The storyline is great but I think it ends a little bit too fast, the final act feels a bit jankier than the first few levels.

Overall a great experience and I'm excited for what the devs will make next <3

This game is amazing, I've been so deep in hearing every conversation and reading every piece of paper that I felt like time in real life disappeared for a while.
The art is awesome, I love the environments and how immersive each place is, the narrative has an incredibly well-studied approach which makes every little detail very interesting to take the time to see, the music is very well set for the ambience of the game and in general the look and feel of it all gives me this feeling of great satisfaction when playing.
The true and noticeable interest and care the devs placed in this game is very unique, congratulations to everyone involved.

I really wanted to like Mexico, 1921. A Deep Slumber. as it’s fascinating to learn more about local histories from the point of view of the people whom it affected most. However, due to the aforementioned bugs, I was out of luck. The game until then seemed solid enough, if a bit janky. At its current price point of £16.75, I cannot recommend getting this game if there is a risk it simply won’t work. I wholeheartedly hope this is something unique to me and not a general bug, so if you find it on sale and don’t mind the risk, I do think it’s worth a look if you’re interested in history.
