the mummy is broken
i have a huge issue with the mummy trait, the scarab's. dont misunderstand, i can appreciate the logistics of it, but they are A) virtually impossible to see, and B) suicide charge you if you are anywhere near a set of stairs. i was ghost pulled to the top of the stairs in the house with only one scarab, and immediately had 5 scarabs rush up the stairs and get 'squished' even though i wasnt moving.

i'm at the point where if we discover it's a mummy, we dont even bother. for a game thats supposed to be fun, things like this make me play others

Hello!
Mummy is 4 rank ghost, it's supposed to be strong
You gotta turn on the light to see the scarabs
They don't attack, they just run in random direction

I must admit, the Mummy is also an auto forfeit for me, at least when I’m playing solo. Playing with two or more people is fine, but alone it’s just unpleasant. The scarabs are way too fast to avoid, even with lights on. There’s no "safe path" you can take to dodge them, so sooner or later, you’ll end up with a bunch of them on you. When you get to three or four scarabs, you have no choice but to leave the building and wait for them to disappear, which is boring.

When the ghost grabs you and pulls you in, you can’t do anything, and bursting a lot of scarabs usually results in removing two steps without the option of preventing it. In many cases, you need to act quickly like closing doors, turning off water taps, or doing other tasks that require speed, but this often leads to killing a lot of scarabs.

Yes, a level 4 ghost should be challenging, but I think there’s a line between challenging and unpleasant, and I think the Mummy crosses more into the unpleasant territory (again mostly in solo play).

Maybe if there were ways to use items or tools to make the scarabs easier to dodge, it would help. For example, holding an object while walking could make them avoid you but not when running. Or using an item that makes you immune to them for a short time. Or having them walk in the middle of corridors so you can try to sneak along the sides to avoid them. Or maybe there could be torches or similar items that you can throw to create a path where the scarabs can’t go, but the torches would have a cooldown and stop working after a certain time. You know, just something to keep the challenge while making the Mummy still difficult but more fun to deal with.

Thanks for your ideas, I got your point of view and kinda agree with it. We'll discuss Mummy's feature with the team and think about the ways of improving it :)
Something is planned to rework a bit the mummy or not at all ? =)
