Here how to do it:
You have to load the first map the lost house and go to the garden. Light up the fireplace with the torch and follow the gap in the fence. Follow the way through the trees and follow the signs, walkt through the water to the Island on the other side of the river. Next you need a 4 digit code. In the kids bedroom with the computer you can find a pictureframe with an QR Code in it. Scan it and you reveive a Binary code, translate it and you geht the code "5147". The Achievemnt should pop up in the second you reach the island. In there you get 75000 Dollar. Collect the treasure chest, finish the round and have fun with your money

Nothing happens to me when I go to the fireplace with the torch... even if I throw it on it doesn't do anything, do you have to have achieved something specific first?

For me it worked. i just dropped the torch at the fireplace (not throw, drop the item so it doesn't get destroyed) and the place lit up
