I lost everything

Before the update I had made a bit of progress in the game. I had quite a bit of money saved up because I wanted to get the drone, I was over level 10, and I had caught all of the ghosts in the game at the time. After I redownload and open the game for the first time since the new update, everything was gone. All of my progress was wiped and it doesn't seem like that happened to everyone. Is there anything that can be done about this?

I uninstalled/reinstalled the game 2 times and never had this problem. It looks like your saves (in the appdata folder) somehow got messed with, which cannot be done by the game.
