2. That was just for cinematic purposes. And remember Heartman's research of The Beach is a process, he learns how it works through his successive travels there. He probably woke up in The Seam at first, he just didn't know what it was.
3. The Beach itself is a different place from the living world, but everyone perceives it differently - that's what he means when he says everyone has a different one. In a sense, the dead people are all there together, but they can't perceive one another. And about him going to The Beach every day, that's part of his backstory. He realizes he'll never find his family that way and gives his quest up after the game. You have to understand one of the themes of DS is that people are lying to themselves. Yes, even Sam.
4. That one is easy - he's talking about Clifford Unger's beach, where more than one person can see the same Beach - in that case, soldiers that died in wars. It turns into a completely differently place that is molded by all their different memories. That's why the first time you go there it's during WW1, the second time it's WW2, and so on.
5 . That's just how he is.
to add to that, i asked in the other post when mama tweaked the code, and for what purpose. i saw people saying it wasn't her, but in that lockne scene lockne thinks it was mama who tweaked it. but why? and when? english is not my first language. so i would appreciate the help :)
About Lockne and Mama, I don't think there's any hidden motive or anything. The first Bridges Expedition took 3 years to link all the territories up to Edge Knot City (the final place you link in the game), and Mama already had suspicions about the long-term viability of the Q-Pid Limiters. But since the chiral network was abruptly disconnected, she couldn't investigate it any further. When Sam linked all the prior nodes again, he did it much faster (probably a few weeks or months), so the older limiters didn't work anymore.
Of course, this could be a plot point they'll clarify in the upcoming Death Stranding 2.
(About the timeframe of the game: we can only be sure the story of the whole game is less than 1 year long, because that's how long BBs can live inside that pod).
also you said "But since the chiral network was abruptly disconnected, she couldn't investigate it any further" what do you mean abruptly disconnected? maybe i haven't reached that yet in game? i don't know what you are referring to by this
About the other question: Sam's mission in this game is to RE-link the chiral network nodes. They were linked three years before by the Bridges I Expedition, but at the end of the expedition, the whole network was disconnected by terrorists (♥♥♥♥ Demens). Along the way in your travels, a few characters will mention they were part of the chiral network before (usually distribution centers or small cities).
Anyway, once you reach the final node you will understand.
