Is it confirmed to have a time exclusivity on PS5? I remember Kojima was really strongly wanting the first one to release on PC at the same time. Shame if he doesn't care anymore.

Trust me, Kojima cares. Unfortunately he doesn't necessarily have the power to force the issue. Same as how he hasn't been able to pry the rights to MG out of Konami's grubby paws :(

That sucks. I'll happily wait though, the first game is a masterpiece.

I actually don't mind the wait at all. All these exclusives come out, get hacked to pieces by the Day 1 console maniacs, bugs get fixed, changes get implemented, DLC's all come out and get the same treatment and then after a year or so we PC users get to pick up iALL OF THAT for the same pricetag as the others paid out for the original condition base game.

Really only have to worry about bugs specific to the PC version, and they tend to get dealt with fairly quickly by comparison because so much of the other stuff is already done. ;)

Playstation published games usually launch in near perfect condition on console. I know, I am a main PS5 gamer .

You've seen how recent releases go though
They have been perfectly fine on PS5 dude. Only PC ports struggle.

Key word there: "usually." There are exceptions.

And even if it's bug-free on Day 1, that doesn't invalidate the rest of my points. ;)

AAA games notoriously release with game breaking bugs and a plethora of problems, that's his point and he's right. Will DS2 release as a buggy mess? Probably not but by the time it releases for PC all the kinks will be ironed out and we'll have all the DLC avaliable day 1.
Not Playstation IPs. Seldom do they come bug ridden. I have played them all day one except Spiderman 2.
