Really only have to worry about bugs specific to the PC version, and they tend to get dealt with fairly quickly by comparison because so much of the other stuff is already done. ;)
And even if it's bug-free on Day 1, that doesn't invalidate the rest of my points. ;)
AAA games notoriously release with game breaking bugs and a plethora of problems, that's his point and he's right. Will DS2 release as a buggy mess? Probably not but by the time it releases for PC all the kinks will be ironed out and we'll have all the DLC avaliable day 1.
