Why are roads deteriorating so quickly?
I've spend couple of days to build roads(some segments building only by myself, because they was out of chiral network), and not even finish when i see, what almost half of the road already damaged about 50-70%. Read somethere what people will be adding resources and road will be fixed, but i've seen only degradation(on some segments it already 10-30%).

How much playtime do you have? In my experience, things break down after 60 hours in.

It is destroying even offline, no matter how many time you played in current session. I've noticed what in game you have some scryptes. When you start a new game, your boots wont break until certain moment, your bike etc. It seems, road have that scrypt too - its is slowly destroying until some moment in story, maybe until "Mama" chapter.
What I know is that roads in snowy areas degrade much faster (like the stretch near the Weather Station), but aside from that, the things I've built back at the beginning (ladders, generators) only really started taking significant damage when I was approaching 60 hours played.

Your problem is probably the areas not linked to the chiral network.

No, it is happening inside chiral network. In 1,5-2,0x times faster inside zones with regular or often temporal rain, yes. But still very quickly in zones with "good" weather. Inside zones with chiral network segments stat to repairing, and I start to see messages with players donating resources.

This is incorrect. Structures and roads only deteriorate when you are playing or fast forward time with sleep. There is no active online session on the server that runs your world.
In areas with a lot of timefall things break faster. That is all.
Keep the personal room to a minimum.

Yes to add to this, every time you go to your personal room 30 minutes of in game time passes. So ALL structures on the map take 30 mins of wear, and in timefall areas obviously they take more damage. This is why I almost never use the private room unless absolutely necessary.

Also ALL time is stopped once you end a game session. So you can come back to your same game session years later and nothing will have changed or degraded. The only thing that will have increased is the number of online likes you received on your structures during that entire time. Its kind of funny coming back to a game session after months and months just to see yourself get millions of likes in an instant.
Those roads must the the western ones on the second map near the mountains, they're outside of chiral network range. Even when they are within range the heavy rain absolutely ruins them.
there are no roads "outside of chiral network", what? just get the 2* with the preppers, and youre good to go. usually getting the chiral network coverage makes roads require much less materials to build too! like up to 2k metal/ceramics usually.

I know this. In moment of posting, i was connecting son of writer. And mountains road was not in chiral network, i've connected this region later.
the difficulty level also makes difference

True. Despite of description in the game, difficulty level effects on durability of constractions, stamina consumption, HP of Bosses, damage to packages... And a few things more.
