Mods for Death Stranding

Sorry for the dumb question (I'm just getting into PC gaming) but do mods for this game disable achievements? I'd like to mod monster energy cans back into the game as well as have Sam with long hair instead of the man bun he has when walking around, but I won't do it if it disables achievements

Read the full post in case the author says so. Also read posts or ask them. The cans and hair should be completely OK though, they're just changing textures. Absolute worst case you have to use SAM to give yourself the achievements if you can't get them legit.

You can have Sam leave his hair loose by wearing any of the glasses/sunglasses you get through the game. You just have to remember to put them on again every time you come out of a private room. He'll also leave it down if you wear the cap once you get it, though of course then it's mostly hidden.

I think Monster Energy drinks are only missing from the director's cut, if you own the standard version they will be there. For me at least I upgraded to this version for $10 more at the time and I own both versions
