I can never remember if the answer was "No" or not.
Spare blood gets better/worse with the options for more backpack attachments later, which include more blood storage (or box free grenade storage. better battery power, etc).
Because blood grenades don't suck up nearly as much blood as later options.
In all my playthroughs I've use it at the very beginning and once I unlock hemantic I never look back.
There are a lot of balacing issues in this game. Besides what you said, which is true, there's also the Bola Gun. That sht remains very effective throughout the whole game.
You run out of ammo REAL FAST if you keep using it without taking a nap in a base in the late game, but yeah it remains rock solid "worth your backpack cover protected space" all game along with the blood squirt gun that is more like a blood railgun at full charge.
I never ran out of ammo with it. You can neutralize everyone in a camp just fine. You can even find more Bola Guns on some camps.
I have bad luck ever finding ones that can also work on BT, as you need the upgraded version for that. Why pick up essentially garbage when I can just start punching.
That said I consider "Three camp's worth of enemies" a normal amount of combat in an outing. Which is part of why I am always tempted by the ammo pouch option even though it takes up sooo much space
I had stabilizer lvl 3, blood pouch with 8 slots and 2 grenade pouches. I carried 1 shotgun, 2 rifles and by the end of the game a grenade lancher and/or rocket launcher. I played it on Very Hard as well, so more Lions and whatnot.
the former contains blood as well as piss
if all they do is act like Ex1 I fail to see why there's an Ex1+ .....
anyway my cargo can survive a little ambient piss on the outside. still an s rank. it can't survive a single catcher drag, even if I nuke the catcher for millions of kuban right afterwards.
arguably it's the weapons that are useless for most of the game.
throw the water on the ground as soon as you're caught, and calmly walk to the edge of the pool.
but I mean that doesn't require EX1+, regular EX1 should work as well for that
so again, kind of a moot point
