Personally I'm not going to sign up to anything, to be "allowed" to pay for a product.
Edit: Steam is something I "signed up to". Shutup :)
It’s not only that. PSN isn’t available in 200 regions. That means if DS2 coming to PC and Sony will require PSN, that people from 200 regions will be not able to buy the game😭
How does that work?
Regions means countries in Sony terms. So basically people who are living in Estonia, Latonia, Lithuania, Moldova and so on aren’t able to register a PSN account, and we can’t buy it. This happened with me when they took Ghost of Thushima from my library because I bought the game from the wrong country
Yes. In the beginning they said it’s only for multiplayer games. Them everything started to ruin. GOT, GOW and now Spiderman 2 for sure. But I really hope DS2 will be without that.
I hope I can play it!
I wont even bother to get a mod to get the job done, its about sending message to reject this forced useless extra step thats required.
But I would wish he would not force us, cuz he makes great stuff that deserves support, he is a very special guy.
I agree with you, I hope PSN won’t be included
I have a Playstation account and have had to link a few games to it. I have the account because I bought a PS3 for the MGS Legacy Edition. Well, that and Gran Turismo, Infamous and few other games. I used it to get apps on my Sony camera
But, my point is that some of us already have the PSN account.
The world consists of 195 countries, according to the UN. So, there aren't even 200 countries in this planet. This means your figure is nothing but hyperbole because if it were accurate then the game would be unavailable to the WHOLE PLANET! It's a figure that is nothing more than FOMO-mongering.
Also, you need to ask yourself why PSN is unavailable in the countries where it is unavailable. Is it because of the way Sony prefers to do business, or, because of local laws in those regions?
But, let's move on from the "unavailable in 200 countries" claim because it is a verifiably untrue. 196 countries exist on this planet and my region can definitely use the PSN system. It's not a "Real Probelm" because it isn't a real and accurate representation.
Sorry, I missed it. I meant 200 regions. But this doesn't change anything. Sony will not open new regions for PSN because of some strange reason. There are countries from EU that are blocked for PSN like Estonia, Letonia, Lithuania, Moldova and so on
