vs Original? More online content?

I have the original and I barely played it, but after playing helldivers 2 for over 150 hours, I want to play death stranding again.
But then I realized there's a Director's Cut and I have the original.
If I remember correctly there were online elements like leaving a bridge for others to use, leaving a Like, etc.
Is the DC better in terms of online content since there's more players/newer? there's 500+ players online for DC but only 114 for the original.
Is DC better in other areas that's not online related?
Is it worth buying DC when I have the original?

edit: i just noticed there's an upgrade option, i'll wait for a sale on that. but please still let me know if the DC is better in terms of online interactivity with other players' bridges and etc.

dont know... directors cut is currently broken and unplayable.. imma try the original version again. - check the bug report forums. People having same crash issue since 2022 with no actual dev response. They just dont give a ♥♥♥♥ so dont give them money ;)

Played over 60 hours and not one crash. Quit using potato pcs and old tech.
