So my assumption is that graphics drivers also play a big role in this.
what do you think with RAM? Do you really think there is problem with ram if there is no problem with almost 200 other games?
I contacted 505 Games and they worked on it, they think it is something with DirectX, but without results in this time.
I played the game yesterday for the very first time and had that specific access violation right after exiting the incinerator to the right.
What helped me was disabling steam overlay for the game and excluding the executeable ds.exe from windows exploit prevention. No crashes since then.
Seems like the culprit is some wonky implementation that interacts with external 'forces'.
