The DC version was broken with the september patch, has massive fps issues
Maybe you should reinstall the game in your case?
Then you are one of the few players who got the game within about 1 hour after it was unlocked in the store.
Because in this short period of time, due to an error, not the standard version, but the DC version was given away. However, the DC version should never be given away and the error was quickly fixed.
I think you need to read his post again. He's talking about buying the full game on Steam, not buying the upgrade...
No. I didn't get the DC. The servers were working just fine for 2 days before they crapped out. I still get some online content popping up occasionally, but it's a fraction of what it was for the first 2 days, and there's semi-frequent disconnection errors. It DOES actually login sometimes though... This would imply the servers are overloaded, rather than disabled.
That being said, I've just been and bought the upgrade anyway. It's a hell of a lot of game for not much more than the price of a pint.
Or this is ♥♥♥♥ show try to PR and upgrade 6$ to gold for trash ?
I cannot confirm this. I run this with stable 100+ fps with a 13600k and rtx2060 - g-sync, no dlss and on highest settings - no Problems. And im in chapter 6 now. And online works in DC ;)
Yeah I'm not seeing it either on a 1060... 2560x1440, ambient occlusion and vsync turned off, shadows set to medium, TAA on, all the scaling options off, everything else cranked up... Even with vsync off, I've got the framerate capped at 60... Occasionally see it dip to 58 or 59 as things load in. Though some of the cutscenes only seem to be 30fps, but that's pretty standard in a lot of console games/ports anyway.
Only real difference I can see so far is they've changed the Monster Energy drinks to Bridges Energy Drinks, and the textures look a touch sharper...
