adaptive trigger dualsense not working

how do i enable the adaptive triggers?

Need to shut off SteamInput for the game to get Dualsense to work properly. Go to library - right click on the game - properties - controller - disable steam input. Be aware that there is a bug where pressing the touchpad will not allow you to listen to mission briefings. Still works for liking and other stuff, just not briefings. Needs to press Y on keyboard to hear them. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon though. Seems like a simple enough bug.

So there's three things you need to make sure your controller will work:
1) Turn off Steam Input
2) Use a wired connection
3) Make sure the controller audio device in Windows sound settings is enabled

When i plugged in my Dualsense it over-rid my discord settings and blasted the controller mic to my VC so I disabled the sound device since i never planned to use the sound on the controller for gaming headsets or anything... didnt realize that you needed the sound to be on for the Haptics and triggers to work, seems odd they would be linked, but might be something to do with the Sony API for making it work on PC.... anyway.... Thank you for Step 3!

That's discord screwing up and thinking it should use that audio device.

Don't let discord be on default. Manually set your audio devices.
