I noticed the vanilla Death Stranding stuff on the Steam community market has been removed. I hope they make cool new ones for the Director's Cut. Does the game even have cards yet?

It was never on the market, only on point shop (and even not from the beginning of the game).

I hope this time they will do a full trading cards & badges implementation, not only point shop thing which you couldn't even remove from inventory in the future.

No thanks.

The card market is rightly dying due to people abusing the system.

The point shop is better.

You don't need to use it - it could be both market & point shop (many games have both). But I want badge for my profile and want to be able to sell or remove any item from my inventory in the future. With point shop items I can't.

Sorry, but trading cards & badges are one of the things essential to the Steam platform so it would be nice to be implemented in such big game too if it's on Steam.

They're really, REALLY not.

Why you have a problem whith things other people want to do. You don't need to use any cards or craft badges, DON'T need, but as I see you crafted many of the, some to the level 5, some FOIL badges!, so it's a little pathetic to hear from you that trading cards or market are bad when it's obvious that you bought there a lot.

Please remember, that if you need to buy more things from point shop you need to spend a lot of money to buy games on Steam, and please don't say that you can get points for free from reviews or profile awards. :steamfacepalm:

Badges are pointless. Foil badges are pointless.

The entire system was poorly thought out and heavily abused by malicious "developers" uploading asset flips to the storefront purely for the purpose of farming and selling cards/gems.

It's a terrible system and it deserves to die off.

Just DON'T buy it. What's the problem? If they are pointless - why do you have so many of them? :tradingcardfoil: Foil badges don't come so easy, just show that someone was very motivated to craft them.

If you have a problem with Steam market - just go to some overall Steam topic. I see you go evey discussion where someone talk about trading cards & badges in a geme that didn't implemented it yet. It looks like lobbying. :csgohelmet:

Badges and cards are an active detriment to the platform.

They're a big part of why there's so much absolute trash shovelware on steam now.

"don't buy it" isn't really a defense when it's just bad for the platform.

Oh boy, you can spend money to make badges and MAYBE get the emote you want!

Or you could just buy the damn thing from the points shop.

Points shop is better. Cards need to die off.

Sorry, it's not topic about whole platform... Please find the right one.

Or MAYBE just go to the market and buy ANY emote or background without need to craft any badge (you can sell all cards you erned and with that cash buy items).

Please, please say me ONE thing - if I want to remove point shop item from inventory, what I need to do? What? Just one simple answer... plese?

(of course in case of market items I can sell them or convert to the gems).

It is directly about the platform as the platform is what the godawful card system is part of.

Or MAYBE just go to the market and buy ANY emote or background without need to craft any badge (you can sell all cards you erned and with that cash buy items).
Or you could just buy it from the point shop and not help fund people abusing a badly designed system.

Can't say as I care about removing the items from my inventory.

Not like you can run out of space in the damn thing.

You like cards? Fine. That's your opinion and you're welcome to voice it.

Just like I'm welcome to voice my opinion that it's a crap system that needs to die off.

It's about one specific game, not WHOLE platform system... You won't change the platform with your opinion here.

Of course, it's easy say I don't care. But the truth is - noone can't remove any item from point shop from inventory. I'm not saying about space, but more about order or arrangement - after some time there could be big mess without any controll. That's stupid.

I don't say there anything about market as a whole, of course there're things to fix or have more controll, but I like bdges & trading cards and in my opinion anyone should be able to use them alongside point shop, not only one choice.
I'm not going on every topic and shout "Let point shop die!" etc....

Adding cards to this is part of that system.

Thus my objection to it.

You know there's a search function and filters, right?

There really isn't a way to fix the card market except killing it.

It is beyond repair.
