+1 VR support on Steam

It's mostly geared towards playing in mixed-reality. Very worth buying for a headset that has good MR capabilities. For anything else... you can play the game perfectly using UEVR already.

I don't think that's necessarily the case, no. It's about playing the game by looking down at it, whatever happens around the "virtual game board" is of no consequence. What changes here is the ability to look at it from any angle. It's not like you do anything else that amounts to gameplay meaningfully by having your living room around the game world.

If anything, I'd say it's more immersion breaking. I can understand doing that for pure board game type games like Demeo, where it's designed to imitate pieces in a borad game, etc. But here it isn't the case.

As someone who owns a meta quest 3 and just saw an article about this game coming to quest, I instantly came here to see if there was any news for pcvr, I don't really like buying games on the meta store and prefer to have everything in one place (steam)

So +1 from me

The reason why the VR version of this game is quest-only is because someone who works at Meta and is a big fan of the game contacted Square Enix and made the VR version possible. So it's not as if Square Enix showed great interest on its own. Maybe there was money involved here? Don't forget that Meta regularly invests billions of dollars to push VR into the mass market.
