How is the RPG aspect of Triangle? is the story good? also have you played Sea of Stars? I just finished Chrono Trigger and people said Sea of Stars is like chrono trigger.
The story has several different routes you can pick from at specific points but most of them end up in nearly the same point up until the end in which case there are 4 possible endings to get. If you plan to max level and unlock all characters, you'll need to actually play through the game several times with NG+ as some character unlocks are based on what routes you took, etc.
Sea of Stars I have completed. I had a blast with it as well.
Between the two which would you recommend first. Sea of Stars or Triangle?
People often cite Chrono Trigger when talking about Sea of Stars, but it takes just as much homage from Super Mario RPG in my opinion.
For me, I very much enjoyed my time with both of them.
Ok thanks for the replies. :)
As for story, I do like story of Tactics Ogre and its mature setting. Triangle strategy is the same as well in terms of mature story.
I am retrying to play Fire Emblem engage atm and let me tell you, its a struggle because the gameplay is not as good as Tactics or Triangle Strategy AND the story sucks.
I used to love Fire Emblem series but its falling behind of even classics like Tactics, anyways enough of Fire Emblem.
The gameplay is very much the same like any other tactics game, but I feel Tactics takes the edge.
Why? You can recruit so many different factions/classes etc. On top of that there are dragons, beasts and monsters to tame each with their own elements, so it gives you more options. That said, do those options really matter if you have the best element dragon in the game? No, but the choice is there.
Loot is awesome in both games.
I would give Tactics Ogre an 8.5, Triangle Strategy 7.9.
Both are very fun games, and Triangle Strategy requires less grinding at least on first playthrough.
Does it similar to both?
Because I'm thinking of buying them
