- Better graphics. Maybe improve the alien's animation and physics so it's closer to what we see in Alien Isolation.
- Remove the tracers from the pulse rifle (and maybe slightly higher rate of fire) - yes, sorry, I keep going on about it since no one will help me make a mod :/
- More interactivity with the world and puzzle elements. Maybe moving/stacking things to access secret areas?
- Agree with needing a better map - maybe also let the player doodle/write notes on it?
- Replace the revolver with something else. It's uglee Q_Q
- Flamethrower lol
More choice of hats
Different enemies
The ability to have a last ditched attempt at killing an Alien when its grabbed you, if you can get your pistol quick enough
Ambidextrous with weapons. being able to shoot guns regardless of which hand its in.
Better grenade mechanics.
So ... start by implementing DLSS, so cards below the 4070ti can run the game decently. Further optimisations. Precalculated lights for a LOT of stuff, rather than so much of the computaly super expensive and grainy looking lumen.
I cant speak to that as I played on psvr
Personally up to 2 players coop would be great if we had to face multiple xenos.
Basically Aliens (1986) in VR would be a dream game for me.
I have a 3070 with only 8gig vram, 10700k intel, 32gig of system ram, game runs fine maxed out, has some stuttering when in the lifts or when i popped an achievement.
Everything maxed, pixal density at 0.8, any higher and the performance suffered.
Using a Rift S, honestly i do not understand the performance issues people are having?
What VR are you using? is it wired? if its wired, what USB port do you have it plugged into? i had a terrible time with VR until i got a stand alone USB to PCIE card to handle the USB side of things. then everything ran smooth as pie.
Quest 2, wireless.
I also had a Rift S. Still have it in fact, but some software issues make it close to unusable. Sound is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if I go through the headset. I know it's software because anytime I fully reinstall my OS, it works for a while. Then sunddenly stop working after a few hours. I was never able to find what update screw it. And since meta stoped supporting it a while ago, not much chance it will ever be fixed.
Quest 2 has better image quality anyway, even in wireless with compression artifact. And believe me, wireless IS also a plus.
I think they have made some significant improvement to performances and stability though. Maybe it runs better now. I'd say I would be OK giving it another go with just the addition of DLSS instead of unreal TAA to clean up the image a better.
I'm not a big fan of DLSS in VR, but latest version has really improved things. And if you use Lumen, you DO need some form of TAA to clean up the graininess. Just, unreal TAA is by far the worst option.
But really, the thing about not using Lumen as much ( or at all ) for the sequel still stands. I really think the old fashioned way do doing GI ( fake it by hand, with invisible light ) worked much better.
Not something gimmicky.
Xeno heads exploding into pieces and their limbs with tails being dismembered from bullets. Even in a simplified form.
And also the ability to tape tie two different weapons like Ripley did with the pulse rifle and flamethrower in A L I E N S. Would increase versatility, but also decrease movement speed since it's way more heavy to carry. Also, a motion tracker that is just like the ones from A L I E N S would be so incredibly dope.
Drone stalker xenos (like the first xeno "big chap" in the first A L I E N movie). And a queen would be the most terrifying thing to experience in VR (getting shills down my spine just thinking about it).
Maybe grenades, and when they explode, the aliens fall apart.
A bit more variety in alien deaths.
Maybe two or three types of aliens... some attack a little differently and are more resistant
Don't stick to the movies.. think of something that would work best in the game even if it has nothing to do with the movies.
Also, it would be great if there were actual quest markers, like if you want me to go somewhere, just mark where I need to go. I know you can open the map up and zoom in and find things, but that's boring, just put something on the HUD.
