Alienware programs causing glitch?

Hi - I've given Alien: Rogue Incursion Part One another test - this time by uninstalling:

Alienware Command Center Package Manager
Alienware Digital Delivery Service
Alienware OS Recovery Tool
Alienware Support Assist OS Recovery Plugin for Alienware Update
Alienware SupportAssist Remediation
Alienware Update for Windows 10

Dell Core Services
Dell SupportAssist

Before a final reboot ant then running the game. To my surprise A:RI worked pretty well at 90fps. So well that I turned everything else up to "Epic" and I'm not SURE but it seemed to work pretty well. I'm talking to Alienware tech support even as I type this here.

A lot of the OEM stuff that gets bundled is just bloatware and I never trust it, so maybe it’s thrown a spanner in the works. I’d expect better from a gaming device SME but I am often disappointed!

Perhaps we're just optimists?

Trying to uninstall one program at a time, I'm frakked if I can get the game to run smoothly so far today 😞

Alienware tech support have so far been slightly less useful than a chocolate saucepan 😞

Haha, I call myself a cynical optimist. I am forever hopeful that one day someone will do something to the standard I expect, but am eternally letdown in this regard!

Over the decades (Yikes! When did THAT happen?) I have come to the conclusion that "cynicism" is just another word for "realism" 😞
