More and more it’s becoming clear this was developed as a flat game and hastily and thoughtlessly ported to VR later.

Most games these days give you an option to turn film grain off...

Maybe try looking into the game setting files you may be able to turn if off from there.

I don’t know where this grain come from. But on The walking dead onslaught ( Survios VR Game too ) the grain is there too. So it could be a engine issue.

A lot of games these day (especially VR) think it's a really good idea to make the visuals have film grain. They think by doing it, it makes the game have 'ambience'. Sadly shoving a film grain filter on doesn't always make the game look more like a 80's film.
