Lost entire day progress in focus mode

Had done 2 jobs already, exited the game because of real life things and nope, I have to start the day again.
Is this a bug?

It's not a bug, and it's a way to prevent you from start over again when you at long run.

When you finished a day and get to bed, you could save your progress.

Only saving after sleep is actually pretty useful at the moment. I had to restart the day several times to confirm that the safe quest didn't work on the the Deck so it helped quite a bit.

Star map was maddening, becuse it bugged out (fixed everything, but the map was flickering). So I said "F it" and turned in the job. And it was wrong.

So it is blessing and curse at once.

The days are not random. You might have lost two jobs, but they are the exact same jobs. You should be able to recover pretty quickly because you know everything that went wrong.

Heck, most days I will purposely scrub just to find any errors I might have missed the first time. It's also a great way to save on imagery film because you know exactly how to set the camera.
