Is there something wrong with this part?
I get to the part where it says start ignition and it does not start. So i follow the part where it say "where my engine doesn't start" but it always trigger a X on the test and it fails. I cant repair the engine before the test.

All you have to do is to exactly follow the instructions.
"why my engine doesn't start" is useful only when you need to fix an cockpit module.

The Swine Competency test is very much "Follow the section for the Swine Test."

I've only gone through it once so far, but I'm pretty sure if you make a mistake you can't start the engine. You can still complete the test and get money for that, but you get fined for the ship not starting and a towing fee.

If you have enough money, you can bypass the test entirely, though. You have to suck a lot of fines, Not quite $2,000, but if you hit the button to start the test you can run right out to the bell, ring, and say "Screw it" to the whole thing. If you can tank that fine and still pay the Rent, you're still good.

After going trough all the steps you will probably have overheated the oil module. You can simply exit the pig spacecraft thing and open the oil module and drop the temp to slightly over 50%. The engine should start and it doesn't cause a strike. I think if you also just ring the bell after doing all the steps it still counts as complete even if the engine doesn't actually start.

I checked the oil was below the 50%. So ok I tried to increase it but it counts as a mistake and check the swine test. It say K is the mistake. K would be the handle so there must be something in the internals. I check the internal and I cant figure out what could be the issue. Only thing I can see is there is freeze inside the bulb.

I know I can just say screw it and just fail it but its making me so annoyed that I can't figure out what is wrong.

I've finally figured out what I had to do. I just had to follow every steps to the tee on how to start the engine. Took me so many alt f4 to start all over again

swine test is slightly buggy, i got two penalties at once for one action in it.

There's no need to be concerned about oil temperature. You'll note there's no instruction to turn the oil heater off after turning it on for the second time, and nothing happens once it maxes out. I've finished two tests with oil temp maxed and nothing has happened. You don't need to touch any other modules on the ship besides the test ones.

I did notice that even after following all instructions perfectly, the ignition didn't start on the first turn of the key. But it did start when I let it go and tried again. And once the engine is started you need to go and hit the bell, you won't get any other confirmation that you succesfully completed the test, I'll admit that stumped me for a minute or two as I wondered if I had to do something else.

Also I failed the first two attempts because I didn't know that 2 is a prime number, haha.

Yeah when I got to the part to turn the ignition key and notice nothing happened, I assumed i had to follow the steps under "why my engine won't start" but i actually had to follow every steps in order on the first page, only when i reach the end of it would i check the "why my engine won't start" page. I was confused there.
