Gumball machine bug?

This feels like a ridiculous thing to admit, but either the gumball machine is totally unintuitive to use or mine is bugged. I cannot for the life of me get it to spit out a gumball. My first thought was "maybe you need to give it a coin" but I see no way to get a physical coin to give it, and my items can't be interacted with while I'm looking at the machine.

I've tried all of my tools. I've tried grabbing, scrolling, and rotating everything I can.

Just in case it's a bug and reproduceable: the gumball machine is on the right upper slot of the garage expansion. Next to it is the magnetizer, and below it are the encoder (left) and welder (right).

You need to turn the handle on the front like a real gumball machine. If it still does not work then it might be because of the magnetiser since the welder will also not work when on the right side of the magnetiser.

Thank you - I switched the gumball machine and magnetizer and now both machines work fine
