temporal storage crossed out and doesn't work

i have a temporal storage upgrade and when I put something in it and abandon run it gets cleared out, also it has a big cross from a blade or something on it, how do I fix it, or how does it work?

Abandoning a run clears your temporal storage. It only keeps stuff when you reach an ending or die.

thats intentional design. if you want to end a run early without losing your temporal storage pick a fatal job and fail it or skip till RENT
