Always start with eyes. If there are glyphs with an equal number of eyes, look at necks. If the necks are on the same side, look at legs.
Eyes before necks, necks before legs. You only go on to the next category if there's a tie. If you have a glyph with one eye, and the others have two, press the one eye. Then, you have to break the tie between the two eye glyphs. If one has a neck on the left side, and the other is centered, press left then center. If the necks are in the same position, use the legs to break the tie.
Also, make sure you've rolled the dice and set the knob for each attempt. If you guess wrong, you have to re-roll and set the knob again. The value on the knob and on the dice will equal 7.
Which is not really intuitive since left to right is lowest to highest.
It's also easy to get "left" and "right" mixed up when you don't realize they're not talking about YOUR left.
IMO the page should include a note specifying how the priority system works. They do give you examples of correct combinations but it's still confusing.
If Eye is first priority, shouldn't the others be ignored?
Just had 1, 2, and 3 eyes, pressed in that order, but no good.
One Eye, Left Neck (your left), 2 Legs Is the 1st, 2nd has the same eye and neck formation but has one more leg....
