Are we finnaly getting Dirt Rally 3.0???

I am waiting for Dirt Rally 3.0 for years (or similar) are we getting something similar finnaly???

This is essentially Dirt Rally 3, but with WRC cars.

This is essentially wrc 11, but with the dirt rally Devs.
And ea in charge... and pressures from wrc on how their official game should be...

So codemasters will have lost a fair bit of creative control in comparison to their passion project of dirt rally which was theirs to be as creative as they wanted.

Yea and I noticed already in their extended trailer their "simplified warnings" for turnings....
I did put it on wishlist.....
I really respect Codemasters a LOT.... BUT seeing EA near any game...... I know I am gonna wait for it at least few weeks after release to see is it worth it no matter how much of Dirt Rally 2.0 fan I am but EA influence on developers scares me too much....

Yep. That's exactly what this is. I was a little let down by today's gameplay. The stages look incredibly bland and it just looks like an updated version of DR2. Not that DR2 is bad in any way but it wasn'ty preferred rally game. I didn't like how floaty the cars are and it's been said by a influencer that it still has that feel.


Good news is that I also heard the ffb was improved and that's a great thing because the ffb on DR2 was terrible.

The guy is extremely clear, the handling is not even close to Dirt 2.0. Too much front grip, you don't need the handbrake not even for hairpins.

Ah, I watched most of these videos, but I didn't watch this one to the end. But the comparison to dirt 4 instead of dr2.0 seems right to me from what I've seen.. unfortunately. There definitely does appear to be too much front grip and it looks to easy to slalom around every corner ridge racer style.

Cars never understeering on loose surfaces sounds pretty damn arcade to Me. Plus they never swing wide while sliding around corners. When you slide, you inevitably go wide.

The cars to seem to have more grip on all surfaces, but I have definitely seen people understeering, and sliding wide in the corners.

I'll have to wait until I play the game to know for sure, but I'm all for more grip. DR2 could be pretty arcade like with its level of grip, and how the cars steering from the center of the car, so I'm interested in seeing how this game feels.

Those of us with nearly 3 decades + of PC rally game experience know well for all the chatter 'we' are ultimately going to be disappointed simple because many expect too much, always.

Imagine 'any' devs making the perfect rally/game? Most will still moan as that is the human condition LOL.

Just expect mediocre and you may get lucky. Good luck

Yep, no rally game has ever been perfect, this one won't be either.
