can I get refund with 90h playtime?
Just got the response from Steam. They refused my request for a refund. Not a big surprise with 224h playtime.
Try again on the day of the patch, I know I will be if I can't get it running (am on Linux).
if they dont pull back until then, I uninstall.
Im mad, this game was the reason I got a really strong rig...
Alright... where are the reports from this independent, 3rd party assessors you are speaking of, EA? Provide it so everyone can see for him/her self. You say we should not just trust your word on this and yet, you are delivering nothing more than words about the work with those independent assessors. Good job. Lmao.
Anyway, the fact that they unnecessarily run kernel ac stuff even for singleplayer content (there is no sane reason to do that) and, by doing that, kicking players who bought the game knowingly out of it just shows you how they care about you as a customer.
Yeah same I won't try for a refund until they actually go ahead and break it. Who knows, they may come to their senses before then, unlikely as that might be.
Whats (most likely) actually behind the switch from Denuvo to EA Anticheat:
EA is trying to agressively lower costs since their games are not selling as much as they like.
Denuvo is a cost and thus get's yeeted out.
+ they think they can weather the storm of the backlash.
Vote with your wallet the next time.
