1.4.0 - 60 fps cap in menu? Unlock?

After 1.4.0 patch i have a cap of 60 fps in menu. Anyone does have the same? How to fix that?

All have that, You have a settings for set. Standart is 60fps. You can unlock that.

In your:

steamuser/AppData/Local/WRC/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/GameUserSettings.ini

There should now be a new value called:

bLimitFrontendFPS=True

Try setting that to false.

Yes, B14ckPOL_w_pracy is correct, the easy way is via the new menu option in Options->Basic Graphics->Main Menu Framerate.

"Toggles the main menu framerate limit 'on' or 'off'.
- 'On' locks the main menu framerate to 60fps,
- 'Off' allow the main menu framerate to be unlimited.

This will turn the new variable true/false in GameUserSettings.ini:

bLimitFrontendFPS=True

Tbf. 60fps in the menu's is plenty. Having it unlocked getting 250+ like i do just forces your GPU to work harder & draw unnecessary power for no reason. I'd keep it on myself.

Just limit the FPS in your drivers instead of dealing with it in-game, I do that with all my games. Way easier to eliminate performance flux (creating thus framepace issue). Find what your GPU can handle in the worst conditions (usually night + rain is a good starting point) and set that as your maximum. Menu frame rate then do not matter anymore.

Fix? The fix was capping frame rates in the menu. It's not broken. Who wants unlimited frame rates in the menu? Not a fan of using 450 watts to change options.
