stutter/micro freezes fix, final solution

the game was unplayable until I've discovered the issue : codemasters has badly coded the game for the highest intel CPU like mine 13900k.
Since the anti cheat update ,we couldn't change the affiinty setting for the cores.

The only solution if like me with 4090/13900k you have massive micro freeze is to disable HT in bios and to disable the E cores.
Now the game is perfectly smooth, 144fps stable at 5120x1440 ultra all max :D

I will change my bad review only if Codemasters admit they are bad coders with the intel CPUs and fix the code for HT and E cores.....

Get ready I'm coming now in the game for the world records.

EDIT : it's more and more smooth with the 2024 season update, it's good for us, but it shows with work they had to give this smoothness at DAY ONE.

This is what I was telling you all the time...it is common issue for new games engines and you need to disable E-cores if you have some kind of problems...glad you finally sorted...waiting for you on leader-board, just shout what and where ;)

...also check your system with program LatencyMon if your system is ok..it should be green and highest latency I guess will be Nvidia under 700µs...current latency should be around 30-50µs after 30 minutes...good luck!

I'm running AMD and I still have the issue. Glad you were able to get it figured out for the Intel people

What AMD cpu? (I'm on amd 7800X3D and gpu 3070 and no issues, or issues are so tiny that I just don't notice them)

and also what gpu because lots of people have issues specially on rtx 4090

ROFL pls stop trying mate....it is not problem with the game (are you actually playing that game ...I publicly changeling you what ever when ever even in DR2) or just healing some frustrations?

you know that 7950X3D is worst in games if you can not set your rig correctly (core parking) than 7800X3D ?

sorry I have upgraded to 14900ks delided, and it's still butter smooth, intel for life :D

For AMD the solution is easy:

Disable PBO (overclock). When you do that, the CPU stop to change the core (because the clock now are fixed) and the microstutters are gone.

Or more easy, search for PowerPlans on Windows and change the Maximum and Minimum CPU performance for 99%.

Hi guys. I'm looking at buying this game but I understand that there's some micro stuttering issues and I'm not particularly interested in that for a rally game. Questions: I have a 4090 rtx and 7950 x3d, neither over clocked. Also, 64 gigs of RAM. Am I going to have a stuttering problem here or is hit or miss with some people's systems?

no issue, if you configure well the bios

I'm pretty green at tinkering with my system under the hood, have never messed with the bios for anything. Is it difficult to adjust things regarding the game in the bios?
