Finland, again

It's WRC time in Finland now and i wonder how EA managed to make such ugly Finland tracks in the game. My brains can't accept this, my heart screams every time i compare videos and the game.
And where are air horns, EA?!

I have been complaining about Finland since day one. The vegetation looks really bad.

I do miss the way track surfaces looked in DR2 but it really was not realistic. Took me a bit to accept that.

Yup, it's not just Finland either.

My main wish for the October update is better trees/foliage/colours. It could absolutely renew the game and stages. The trees are all wrong, usually not thick so everything feels way more open that it should...

These stages would feel so much narrower with good trees/foliage! Sweden too, abysmal! Seb Loeb rally evo is 8 years old and they did Sweden and Finland better than Codies ever has in how many attempts?

but please stop acting like EA has anything to do with it. CODEMASTERS make the game, not EA.

This is what we want Finland to look like. Not yellow and wide open. EA WRC is... not even close to looking like Finland.

of course they do, they are real stages. If they didn't, then they wouldn't be able to replicate the stages. The routes are correct. The way they're presented is not. Simply making the forest look thick and changing the colours to a more realistic shade would make it look like a new game. The tree types are all wrong as well.

It's able to be fixed, but will they? I hope the new stages for existing locations will be Finland and Sweden.

I love the onboards, I stopped my rally sub when it switched from WRC Live to Rally TV, so have only seen highlights from this year mostly. I will run some Finland tonight, could it be that in game it is just wrong time of year and not so green? Probably not, just wondering, will check it out tonight and see the difference.

Nah, because the game has all four seasons even. Summer is the default one, but it looks more like autumn. The whole colour palette is off massively.

I remember seeing something about issue with yellow tint/hue being slapped onto CM games, same thing on F1 games. Like colors are just inaccurate and making everything look off.

Yeah, ran this last night, definitely more brown, like it is a super dry summer, not that luscious green from the onboard. I get it.

Colours are an issue, but for me the biggest one is how open it all is. The trees have a few branches, that's it. You can see all through them. If they just make the foliage denser/darker/lower they could transform these stages a lot.
