Replay only goes in reverse

I can only get my replays to play in reverse, can't get them to go forward at all and I can't edit the keybindings for it.

if the wheel stays rotated to the left of center, it will beyond a certein point command the replay to play in reverse - and vice versa.

If I turn the wheel to the right it just keeps going in reserve, but I can control the car in reverse by turning the wheel left

that sounds as if the replay-controls for moving forward had been un-bound by some stupid mistake. Or your wheel just developed what is commonly referred to as the "anti-Zoolander symptom", maybe? pardon my french ;-)

The x button was not working for me.
This solution works for me you can unbind and then bind the settings if you change this xml file open it in notepad and save it. With thanks to Thunder Down Under.

You can unlock the bindings by finding action_defines.xml (I'm on linux, not sure where it is on windows) and change:

<group name="spectator" protection="protected">

to:

<group name="spectator">

Then start the game up and you can edit reverse and forward bindings. I don't know why they never seem to get this right...
